Sometimes life drains creativity, and the best remedy is to step away from the easel and reconnect with nature. In this painting, I took a plein air painting journey deep into the heart of grizzly country in the Alberta foothills. Surrounded by wild landscapes, and the presence of these majestic animals, I found new inspiration to fuel my work. In this piece I wanted to capture the rugged beauty of this remote wilderness with a grizzly bear .
